We are excited to introduce Kalaina Kozak as another guest speaker this summer!
Kalaina is a physiotherapist at Peak Health Kids who is passionate about helping young athletes stay healthy, strong, and confident on and off the ice.
After completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta, Kalaina gained experience researching concussion risk in young athletes while working with SHRED Concussions. As a former competitive hockey player, she understands the demands of skating sports and brings firsthand experience working with athletes at every stage of development.
Kalaina will be sharing her experience treating skating athletes and helping young females learn how to care for their bodies beyond their competitive years in sport. Her goal is to provide the knowledge and tools they need to stay active, healthy, and continue enjoying ringette well into adulthood.
We`re excited to have Kalaina join us this summer and empower our athletes both on and off the ice!
Jul 31
As we wrap up an incredible month of July camps, we just want to say thank you to every athlete and family who spent part of their summer with us!
From Winnipeg to Cochrane to Kelowna, it was amazing to see so many athletes show up ready to work, learn, and challenge themselves every single day. Whether you were perfecting new skills, pushing through tough drills, or making new friendships, you helped create an unforgettable atmosphere at every camp.
We hope you had as much fun as we did, and we can`t wait to see you back on the ice soon. Until next time!
